Terms, policy & waiver

The terms that apply to all coaching sessions with SF Performance Tennis.

1. Booking & payment

Booking. All sessions are subject to the client securing court availability. Please ensure your court booking is confirmed before finalising your session time with us.

Payment. Kindly settle all payments via PayNow, PayLah or bank transfer at the end of the session(s). PayNow payments may be made to UEN 53523381K (SF Performance Tennis).

Validity & freezing. All 10-lesson packages are valid for 3 months from the date of the first scheduled session. If a student has an extended commitment (such as an overseas work trip or an injury) they may request to freeze their package, provided they give the coach sufficient advance notice. Extensions are granted only at the sole discretion of the coach.

2. Cancellation

  • We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any client-initiated cancellation or rescheduling.
  • Within 48 hours. To ensure commitment and court management, any cancellation within 48 hours of a scheduled session will incur the full fee.
  • More than 48 hours. With at least 48 hours’ notice, we will reschedule your lesson to the next available time slot, subject to coach availability.

3. Inclement weather

  • The coach checks the weather and assesses court conditions 60 minutes prior to the session start time.
  • Lessons remain “ON” unless officially called off by the coaching team.
  • Before the session: if the session is off due to rain, there is no charge.
  • Interruptions during a session under 2 hours: billed in 30-minute increments based on actual time played. Rain within the first 30 minutes is charged as 30 minutes; after 30 minutes it is charged as 60 minutes, and so on.
  • Interruptions during a session of 2 hours or more: any rain interruption before the 1-hour mark incurs a minimum 1-hour charge.
  • Court fees. If court bookings are made on public courts, players are responsible for those fees. Where weather cancels a session beforehand, coaching fees are waived but players remain responsible for any non-refundable court fees.
  • Alternative training. We integrate specialised off-court fitness training when courts are unplayable, subject to sheltered space.
  • All session start and stop times are recorded by the coach and are final.

4. Code of conduct & logistics

Requirements. Students are expected to bring their own racquet, appropriate footwear and water.

Conduct. We maintain a professional environment. Any form of abuse or inappropriate behaviour toward coaches or staff may result in the immediate termination of the session, subject to forfeiture of the session fee at the coach’s discretion.

5. Waiver of liability

  • I, the student, acknowledge that tennis is a physically demanding sport and involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, muscle strains or accidental injury.
  • I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in training sessions with SF Performance Tennis.
  • I agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless SF Performance Tennis, its founder and its coaching staff from any and all claims, liabilities or demands arising out of or related to any loss, damage or injury that may be sustained while participating in these sessions.

6. Privacy policy

  • Your personal information, including contact details and goal information, is used solely for the purpose of scheduling and coaching.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
